Big yards, full skimmer baskets
The community describes itself as a park-like setting of large lawns and pools. All that green is the appeal, and it's also a good part of the weekly work. Leaves, blossoms, and clippings land in the water, fill the skimmer and pump baskets, and settle on the floor. A full basket cuts the pump's flow, so emptying the baskets is part of every visit, not an extra.
What grows over the water is your call
A tree or flowering shrub that leans over the pool drops into it every day, and that's more work on every visit. You don't have to cut anything back. Just know that what hangs over the water is one of the factors Larry weighs when pricing weekly service, and trimming it is the simplest way to change that.
The filter's yearly service
Once a year, at the end of spring after pollen season, cartridge filters get new cartridges and DE filters are taken apart and cleaned by hand. It's billed on an invoice, and it isn't optional.
Full service, not chemicals only
We don't offer chemical-only service. Every Lansbrook pool on our route gets the full visit: netting, brushing, emptying the baskets, and the chemicals, with the floor vacuumed or netted unless an automatic cleaner handles it.
What does change is how much of that the pool needs. If yours has an automatic cleaner doing the floor, there's less for your technician to do, and the price reflects it. The same goes for the yard: an easy walk to the pool is different from a patio full of furniture, a wall fountain, or rock features to work around. Larry takes all of it into account when he sees the pool.
A salt pool is still a chlorine pool
Salt systems have a reputation for looking after themselves. They don't. The cell turns salt into chlorine, so the water still needs testing and balancing every week, and the cell itself needs looking after. We tell every salt-pool customer the same thing when service starts, so nobody is surprised later.
New to Lansbrook, and new to having a pool
If the pool came with the house, you may not know yet what's on the equipment pad or what the timer is set to. Larry typically starts a new customer's pool himself, and if you're home for that first visit, ask him anything about the equipment.
