Pool Service in East Lake Woodlands, FL
Weekly pool cleaning and maintenance for East Lake Woodlands homes, from an owner-run company that knows the community.
Dog Days already has pools on the route in East Lake Woodlands, so a new East Lake pool doesn't need a special trip. Call with your neighborhood, and we'll tell you which route covers it.
Weekly service is a single monthly price for the visit and basic chemicals, with no contract. Call (727) 205-0566 to talk to Larry or Hilary.
Pools across 2,000 acres of East Lake
East Lake Woodlands covers about 2,000 acres next to the Brooker Creek Preserve. Homes here have Oldsmar addresses, though the community is in unincorporated Pinellas County. Building began in the late 1970s; the country club opened in 1979, and today there are about 3,900 homes across many separate neighborhoods around the North and South courses of what is now Ardea Country Club.
Homes here were built over many years, so equipment pads vary from yard to yard. Some yards back onto trees, and some open onto a fairway. The weekly visit is the same for all of them; the work it takes isn't.

That's why Larry sees every pool before he prices it, and why two East Lake neighbors can pay different amounts for the same weekly service. The estimate is free.
Gate access, set up once

East Lake Woodlands is a controlled-access community, with gate tags for residents and a roving patrol. We don't expect you to be home to let us in. When service starts, tell us how service providers get into your part of the community and provide any code for your pool gate. We set it up with you once, and after that your technician comes and goes on your service day.
Keys, screen doors, pets, and the text-or-photo option work the same here as everywhere else on our routes.

What a weekly visit covers
Every visit, your technician tests the water and adjusts the chemicals, skims and nets the surface, brushes the walls, steps, and swim-outs, and empties the pump and skimmer baskets. Tile gets cleaned when it needs it, and the filter is cleaned or backwashed when its pressure calls for it. If there's no automatic cleaner, the floor gets brushed or netted too.
What's extra
The basic chemicals come with the visit. Anything beyond them, from a stain treatment to a new pump, is explained up front. Small wear parts under $50 are replaced as needed and invoiced; repairs over $50 don't proceed without your OK.
Before your first visit: clear the way
Tell us about the dog
We're dog- and cat-friendly, and every home handles pets differently. Some customers want a text on our way so they can bring the dogs in; others let them roam the yard. Either way, we shut patio doors and yard gates behind us. If a dog behaves aggressively, we'll ask you to keep it inside on service day.
Think about the walk to the pool
A locked side gate, a patio packed with furniture, or a waterfall that has to be worked around can add time to a visit, and Larry may factor that in. None of it is a problem, but it's worth mentioning when you call.
When you're away from East Lake
If you spend part of the year somewhere else, the pool doesn't have to wait for you. Weekly service continues while you're gone under the same access arrangement, and you can ask for a photo after each visit to see the pool for yourself. If you'd rather arrange care around a longer absence, our snowbird and vacation pool care covers that.
