Countryside, on our home route
Countryside took shape in northeast Clearwater from the 1970s into the mid-1980s. Countryside Mall opened in 1975, the Countryside Country Club followed in 1977, and the neighborhoods around them filled in with single-family homes, condos, and townhouses.
We already have pools here, so a new Countryside customer doesn't start a new route. The pool joins one that's already in the area, on a set day, with a regular technician. When a technician is out, Larry or Hilary covers the stop.

Write down what went wrong
Skipped weeks, cloudy water, a pump that screams, chemicals left on the deck. Whatever it was, tell Larry when he comes out. It shows him where to look first, and it tells you exactly what to hold us to.
Old equipment isn't automatically bad equipment
An older equipment pad isn't a problem by itself. If a part is working, we'll say so. If it's failing, you'll hear why, what the fix costs, and that any repair over $50 will wait for your OK.
Ask what's in the monthly price
With us, the weekly visit and the basic chemicals are one monthly price. Specialty chemicals for stains, scale, or stubborn algae are billed separately, and so is the filter's yearly service at the end of spring. Small wear parts under $50, such as O-rings and baskets, are replaced as needed and added to your invoice. You hear all of that before service starts.
If your Countryside pool is green right now
Don't wait for the weekly service to catch up with it. A green pool, or one with algae that has settled in, needs a clean-up first, and that's priced on its own, because no two are alike. How green it is, how long it's been that way, and what the filter and pump are doing all change the work.
Weekly service fees start once the water clears. If the clean-up takes the whole first month, there may be no charge for that month's service. If the water clears partway through, the monthly fee can be prorated for the remaining weeks. Larry explains which applies when he sees the pool.
Selling a Countryside home with a pool
If you're getting ready to sell, a one-time cleaning before the photos and showings helps the water and tile look their best. If the pool has been let go, the green pool clean-up comes first. And if your buyer wants the pool and its equipment looked at, we do home-buyer pool inspections too.
